It's just art, not real life, so take the opportunity to explore where your string of thoughts takes you.
As Oscar Wilde puts it in The Decay of Lying:
“Things are because we see them, and what we see, and how we see it, depends on the arts that have influenced us.”
Looking at Life through Art prompts us to explore outside our comfort zones...
Playing with concepts we discover through Art
gives us freedom to explore
to experiment and enrich our Lives.
When looking at the Rock Sculpture I see:
rocks at angles and inclines
defying gravity
floating...
out into the ocean
Art, in its simplest form, empowers us to be:
creative,
defying how we view the world and
empowering us to explore beyond our DNA
What Art work has made a big impact in your life?
For me it has been Georgia O'Keeffe's Paintings - with their vibrant colors and vast open landscapes. When seeing them, I feel a sense of calm and beauty.
When I need a "Time Out" from an overload of daily pressures; her pictures bring a sense of steadiness to my life.
This post is all about making certain you have a tool that can help create your own "Time Out" when you find yourself overwhelmed with Life's daily demands.
The world of Art is just that tool...
it can reinvigorate you when you are faced with making important decisions.
